These 0.5mm surface mounted FFC/FPC connectors feature a slim and compact design to save extra space, with a matching height of only 2mm. The actuators are designed to be durable, pushing down and locking to secure the connection between the FFC/FPC and connector terminals. The zero insertion force (ZIF) contacts of these 0.5mm FFC/FPC connectors allow for the insertion of very thin cables and enable repeated cycling with minimal wear. The terminal block can also be moved to provide a more secure contact holding force. The pre fixed cable retention function enables accurate insertion of FPC. These 0.5mm FFC/FPC connectors also come with mounting pins that can secure the connector to a printed circuit board and serve as stress relief components for surface mount tail lines.
